KUNTAUR FILM FESTIVAL

Born out of a wish to showcase children's classical films to communities without access to electricity, KUNTAUR FILM FESTIVAL brings films such as THE LION KING to rural villages starting with KUNTAUR in the riverbank of THE GAMBIA and spreads joy, entertainment, and education  to hundreds of children and grownups during each screening. 

Locals and volunteers gather together and pop popcorn and share sodas as the communities enjoy generator driven cinema under the African sky... 

The Festival is an open space where all are welcome.
